The Brazilian moved to the Nou Camp last summer from Bordeaux, turning down Roma at the 11th hour to join Barca in a deal worth £36.5million.

But Malcom struggled to make an impact with the La Liga champions, with speculation rife in January that the attacker might be loaned out.

However, Barca are now looking to recoup as much of their investment as possible by shifting the 22-year-old off their books.

Everton have already conducted business with Barca this summer with the permanent signing of Andre Gomes, who spend last seaosn on loan at Goodison Park. Gomes was joined by Yerry Mina and Lucas Digne in making the move from the Nou Camp to Merseyside a year ago.

Now, according to RMC via Sport Witness, the Toffees are willing to give pay €35million (£30.1million) for Malcom – just €6million less than the amount Barca paid Bordeaux a year ago.

The report suggests an offer is coming ‘in the coming hours’. Arsenal are also credited with an interest but it is Everton who are the first party to ‘concretely position themselves’ in the race for Malcom.
