Emery issues update on Arsenal duo ahead of Liverpool clash

Unai Emery will “decide tomorrow” whether he includes Mesut Ozil and Granit Xhaka in his Arsenal squad to face Liverpool.

Ozil missed last weekend’s win at Burnley because of illness, while Xhaka had a leg problem.

However, Gunners boss Emery is “positive” that the duo can be fit but he needs another day to decide.

“Tomorrow is the last training,” Emery told reporters. “We will decide tomorrow. Today they trained but really I need tomorrow.

“Some players need to improve to be 100 per cent. I am positive with some players for Saturday but I don’t want to decide today or say to you how we are. Tomorrow is the last training.
