Dybala ‘reservations’ put Lukaku’s Man Utd exit ‘under threat’

Romelu Lukaku’s future is still up in the air as Manchester United struggle to agree terms with Paulo Dybala, according to reports.

Everything else seems to be agreed: Lukaku can’t wait to leave Old Trafford for Juventus and the Old Lady seem more than happy to let Dybala head in the other direction, but Dybala seems less than sure.

And now The Independent reckons a potential Lukaku swap deal is now very much ‘under severe threat’ with the Red Devils ‘struggling to strike an agreement’ with Dybala.

The Argentina international ‘still remains unconvinced’ that a move to United would be the right step for his career, while ‘there is a significant distance between the positions of the two parties’.

The Daily Mail report last night that he’ll be demanding a wage of £350,000 a week and The Independent add that Dybala has ‘reservations about their ability to return to the top level’.

Dybala is understood to move somewhere he can see himself winning silverware on a regular basis and ‘those close to the player insist he is not motivated by money’.

Splashing big wages on players like Alexis Sanchez has caught United out in the past and they are keen to learn from previous mistakes by reining it in during discussions with Dybala.

The Independent add that Dybala ‘would still rather stay’ at Juventus as United ‘do not have that selling point’ like Barcelona, Real Madrid or even Tottenham.
