Delhi’s Pollution Is Not Our Headache, Feels Neighbouring States As Ministers Give A Miss To Key Meeting

Even as Delhi/NCR continue to choke under the rising air pollution levels, the neighbouring state of the national capital has shown little interest in extending a helping hand.

On Thursday, Environment Minister from Punjab, Haryana, UP, and Rajasthan skipped a crucial meeting called by the Union environment ministry to discuss pollution. Only Delhi Environment minister Imran Hussain showed up for the meeting which was to study stubble burning and the air pollution in the city while other states were represented by bureaucrats.
