CM Punk Fantasy Books Lana & Lashley’s Road to WrestleMania, Complete With Shark Cage

Alright. Who do we talk to about making CM Punk the new full-time head of WWE creative?

The Straight-Edge Superstar and former world champion returned to WWE Backstage this Tuesday night on FS1 to weigh in on a myriad of topics heading into this weekend’s TLC pay-per-view. And yes, that included the heavily panned and eternally controversial angle between Bobby Lashley, Lana, and her now ex-husband Rusev.

When asked his thoughts on the storyline, Punk actually refrained from completely trashing the bit and instead did something we didn’t expect – he fantasy booked their road to WrestleMania.

In Punk’s hilarious dream scenario, Lashley would eventually realize how annoying Lana has been this whole time and divorce her as well. He and Rusev would become unlikely allies because of their common hatred for the “Ravishing Russian”, leading to a tag team match at WrestleMania against… well, whoever WWE picks for Lana to manage next.

Here’s the twist: even that tag team gets completely sick of her, so they all hang a shark cage above the ring and trap her inside. The losing team gets stuck with Lana.
