Carragher labels Spurs star a ‘disgrace’ after Mourinho criticism
Jamie Carragher labelled Tanguy Ndombele a disgrace after the Spurs star was criticised for his performance against Burnley by Jose Mourinho.
The Portuguese boss claimed he “didn’t have a midfield” in the first half against the Clarets, and called out Ndombele for his display in his post-match interview.

The public nature of Mourinho’s criticism has been widely questioned, but Carragher insists was right to condemn the Frenchman after a disgraceful showing.
OPINION: Jose Mourinho and a legacy of anything but football…
Carragher said on Sky Sports: “Yes it was (justified), again that is another debate and Sven (Goran Eriksson) is spot on that that will be the debate – do you do it in public or in private?
“But I said in the game after about 10 minutes that Spurs were a shambles.
“His performance was nothing short of a disgrace in terms of his effort off the ball.
“On the ball he was actually very good, but off the ball when I watched the game you can’t believe what you’re seeing.”
Ndombele was hauled off at the interval and replaced by Giovani Lo Celso, with the Argentine key to Spurs’ second-half improvement.
