On your wedding day, you definitely want to be surrounded by your closest family and friends. That’s why choosing who you have in your bridal party is one of the most important decisions you’ll make for your big day. After all, everyone wants to marry the love of their life standing side-by-side with the people they hold near and dear. But what if those people are celebrities? Yes, for some lucky individuals, their closest friends are Taylor Swift, Miranda Kerr and Rihanna.
In 2017, Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen were part of an 18-woman bridal party in New York, shortly after having flown to New Zealand to walk down the aisle for another pair of friends that same year. Victoria’s Secret Angel Alessandra Ambrosio joined fellow VS model Ana Beatriz Barros in Mykonos on her big day in 2016, and Margot Robbie gave a bridesmaid speech at one of her closest friend’s 2019 nuptials in Byron Bay.
While most of us have all assumed the honour of being a bridesmaid before, can you imagine having Emily Ratajkowski by your side on your big day? No? Taylor Swift played maid of honour for her childhood best friend Brit Maack back in March of 2016.

In May 2019, Elizabeth Olsen joined her best friend, British stunt coordinator and film assistant Jade Olivia Gordon, at her wedding, walking down the aisle as a bridesmaid in a ruby red floor-length dress. Gordon married American professional golfer Patrick Rodgers at the Vizcaya Museum and Gardens in Miami, in a ceremony complete with a 20-piece choir. The actress took to Instagram to share a peak at the nuptials, captioning a series of images: “My best friend’s wedding.”

According to a series of images shared by wedding guests and Margot Robbie fan accounts on Instagram, the actress served as a bridesmaid for one of her close friends in May 2019. Per a video that has surfaced following the Byron Bay wedding, Robbie also gave a heartfelt speech at the evening reception.
