Besiktas president hints at loan move for Everton striker Tosun
Besiktas club president Ahmet Nur Cebi has revealed his hopes of re-signing Everton flop Cenk Tosun on loan.
Tosun has made just two appearances for the Toffees this season and is behind both Richarlison and Dominic Calvert-Lewin in the pecking order.
He moved to England from Besiktas in January 2018 for a reported £27 million fee, but has failed to make an impact.

Cebi has now publicly revealed his desire to bring the forward back to his native Turkey in the future.
Speaking to reporters (via Liverpool Echo), he said: “Cenk Tosun would be more suitable for us, I wish it could be. He is a football player we know. I am the one who sells it. He is a special kid for me.
“He is currently playing in another club. I don’t know how the conditions will be formed in January. We will not have the chance to play ball here.
“But if there is an opportunity, if they say ‘yes, you can play for six months, you can play for one year,’ our door is open.
“I would love [to sign] Cenk. As a club, we are in trouble with the number of foreigners. This is the reason for our preference for homegrown players.
“We cannot make savings without seeing the decision of the club in January. If it happens, why not, we would love it.”
Tosun scored 64 goals in 142 games for Besiktas and became one of their star players. He was aiming to make a name for himself in England when he joined Everton in 2018, but that hasn’t happened.
He signed for Crystal Palace on loan during the last campaign but suffered a serious injury that ruled him out for most of the loan spell.
It looks like Besiktas will be in the hunt for Tosun when they can summon the funds to take him on loan.
