Another Title Match Announced for Next Week’s WWE Raw Season Premiere

In addition to all the previously announced chaos scheduled for next week’s big Monday Night Raw season premiere, WWE has now confirmed yet another title match for the show.

The unlikely duo of Dolph Ziggler and Robert Roode will defend their Raw Tag Team Championships against the Smackdown duo Heavy Machinery. This will be the last week where Superstars from both brands can come and go as they please, as WWE has also confirmed that the “Wild Card Rule” will come to an end with the Draft next Friday night.

Also announced for the Raw season premiere is Seth Rollins vs. Rey Mysterio for the Universal Championship, AJ Styles vs. Cedric Alexander for the United States Championship, WWE Women’s Tag Team Champion Alexa Bliss vs. Sasha Banks, a Miz TV segment with Hulk Hogan and Ric Flair, and the return of Brock Lesnar.

It will be very interesting to see what next weekend’s WWE Hell in a Cell pay-per-view match card will look like, with so many championship matches set to take place just days before on free television.
