Istituto Marangoni to help alumni in launching own brand on Milan Fashion Week
Applications are open for the third edition of I’M Alumni Collections
Revolution, a competition for alumni of Istituto Marangoni. The fashion
school will cover all expenses related to the creation of a Spring/Summer
2020 collection as well as the production of a fashion show which will be
included on Milan Fashion Week’s official calendar.
Candidates must be at least 18 years old, already own a registered
brand, have never taken part in a runway show on the official calendar of a
fashion week and, of course, have studied at one of Istituto Marangoni’s
locations. Founded in 1935 in Milan, the school currently operates
additional branches in Florence, London, Paris, Shanghai, Shenzhen, Mumbai
and Miami. Applicants must also present creative proposals for a
Spring/Summer 2020 womenswear collection, along with their CV, portfolio
and lookbook of their past works. The deadline is March 15.
The winner will be chosen by a panel comprised of members of Istituto
Marangoni’s management team and prominent professionals in the fashion
industry, who will also mentor him or her throughout the entire process and
even after the fashion show, helping to promote the collection at future
trade shows.
More information about the competition can be found on Istituto
Marangoni’s website.
