Soon Those Polluting River Ganga Could Land Up In Jail For Three Years And Fined Up To Rs 5 lakhs

In an effort to strengthen attempts to curb the pollution in Ganga, the government may soon penalize those responsible for such ats.

According to reports, the Ministry of Water Resources, River Development & Ganga Rejuvenation will soon set up an armed force, which will have the power to arrest those polluting the river.
