Jilted Lesbian Lover Throws Acid On A 17-Year-Old Girl In UP

Three days after a 17-year-old girl was attacked with acid in Karbala colony of Firozabad district, police on Sunday arrested her 19-year-old lesbian lover for the crime. The victim has sustained severe burn injuries on her chest and arms. She is undergoing treatment at a private hospital in Agra where her condition continues to be critical.

The crime was reported around 2.30 am on Thursday when the minor victim was sleeping alone on the terrace of her house, under the jurisdiction of Dakshin police station. Following a complaint lodged by the girl’s father, police had initially booked her former classmate Avinash (name changed) under IPC’s sections 326 (voluntarily causing grievous hurt by dangerous weapons or means) and 452 (house-trespass after preparation for hurt, assault or wrongful restraint).
