Buddy Murphy Scores Biggest Win of His WWE Career on Smackdown Live

WWE’s best kept secret is now its fastest rising commodity.

Last week on Smackdown Live, former Cruiserweight Champion Buddy Murphy gained a tremendous amount of respect from the WWE Universe by going one-on-one with the “Big Dog” Roman Reigns, and putting up one hell of a fight.

This Tuesday night Murphy returned to the ring once again, facing another of WWE’s biggest names. Not only did the Australian underdog survive a battle against Daniel Bryan – one of the most popular stars ever, and a WrestleMania headliner in his own right – but Murphy ended up pinning him, clean and in the middle of the ring.

Unfortunately, the victorious Superstar didn’t have a whole lot of time to bask in his potential career-defining win, as Rowan was brutally beaten down by Bryan and his lackey Rowan backstage just moments after the match ended.
