Updated August 12, 2019:  Pitch Perfect 4 might really be happening with Anna Camp, who played Aubrey in the first three films, telling Entertainment Tonight (ET) she would be “down” to star in Pitch Perfect 4.

“I’m down. I love those girls and I love playing my character, so if they needed me I would be there for sure,” the actress told ET while promoting her new show, Perfect Harmony

October 18, 2018: Fans of the all-female comedy Pitch Perfect, prepare to rejoice as we might be getting yet another sequel of the hit film!

Actor, writer and producer Rebel Wilson has all but confirmed the latest iteration of the film, in both an off-hand interview and on social media.

According to Vanity Fair, Wilson seemed to confirm the cast was reuniting for a fourth movie. “There’s some things in the works. I’m sure Universal is going to hate me for saying this,“ Wilson said at the Los Angeles Veuve Clicquot Polo Classic last weekend. “All us Bellas love each other. We just want to work with each other. The girls are just awesome.”

While Vanity Fair reached out to Universal, the company making the film, a representative did not respond but we definitely feel like the evidence is piling up. Last week, Wilson took to Twitter with a photo alongside her Pitch Perfect co-stars, which seemed to reveal a fourth film is in the works.

Wilson posted the picture over the long weekend, which showed her with co-stars Anna Camp, Brittany Snow and Chrissie Fit, all holding up four fingers. It definitely seemed to indicate we’re getting a fourth film – I mean, what else could that mean?!

Wilson didn’t reveal anything else, simply captioning the tweet with four love heart emojis.

Appearing on her first-ever Vogue cover for our June 2018 issue, Wilson didn’t reveal anything about a fourth installment specifically, but she spoke about what it was like to learn Michelle Obama, the former FLOTUS, was a fan of the film. “She had invited me to the White House after Pitch Perfect 1 came out, but I was filming and couldn’t travel. She is such a nice woman and I like what she’s all about – and her arms,” she said with a laugh.

Pitch Perfect originally debuted in theatres in 2012, with the second film following in 2015 and the most recent film being released just last year.
