Following the debut of Gucci’s 1955 Horsebit Handbag at the brand’s show-stopping resort 2020 show, the Italian fashion house is set to make the style that was recreated from archival designs of the 1950s, available for purchase. The accessory highlights the Gucci’s signature horsebit clasp, a feature which has not been used on a handbag since 2015. Made from materials such as supreme canvas and microfiber lining, the bag comes in three different silhouettes: a shoulder bag, messenger bag and bucket bag. The 1955 Horsebit Handbag is available to shop exclusively online, and for a limited time only. [Vogue inbox]

La Prairie, a luxury skincare label founded in Switzerland, has made its first major commitment to protecting the landscape and resources from which its ingredients are sourced. The brand is supporting glacier-related research at ETH Zurich, a university dedicated to science and technology, and has made a donation to the ETH Foundation in an effort to promote further research. “We firmly believe that it is essential to support and encourage academics working in the field of environmental research in order to protect not only the natural beauty of La Prairie’s birthplace, but to preserve its resources for generations to come,” said Patrick Rasquinet, chief executive officer of La Prairie, in a statement. La Prairie has called the foundation the “most apt partner” as its conservation contributions align with its overarching values. [Vogue inbox]

Pandora is set to launch its first collaboration with actress and activist, Millie Bobby Brown, later this year. In its first official campaign, which aims to celebrate self-expression, Pandora will debut a new collection of jewellery personally curated by Brown. The two-time Emmy nominee has signed a two-year contract with the brand in an effort to promote the collection and highlight her own personal connection with the new pieces. Per Stephen Fairchild, Pandora’s chief creative and brand officer, Brown has brought a “youthful and individual approach to jewellery” and the campaign images, photographed by Cass Bird, will coincide with the debut of a highly-anticipated short film.
