Everton want to replace Gueye with £20m Man Utd target
Everton are considering whether to make a bid for Southampton midfielder Mario Lemina, according to reports.
The Gabon international admitted recently that he wants “to leave and go elsewhere this summer” amid speculation he could move to Manchester United or Arsenal.
Since moving from Juventus in a deal worth £18million two years ago, Lemina has struggled to nail down a starting spot on a consistent basis for the Saints.

Idrissa Gueye has sealed a £28million move from Everton to Paris Saint-Germain on Tuesday after passing a medical in Paris yesterday and now the Toffees are on the lookout for a replacement.
And the Liverpool Echo claims that Everton are ‘weighing up a move’ for Lemina with the Merseysiders ‘looking into snapping him up’.
The report adds that fellow Premier League side ‘Southampton want £20m for the Gabon international’.
On whether he wants to stay in the Premier League, Lemina recently said: “Certainly it is an exceptionally interesting league.
“The best thing for me would be to stay here, but I don’t close the door on any club, or any country. Today, after 4 months with injury, I am not looking at anyone in particular. I aspire to play in the very biggest clubs, now we will see what is offered to me.
“I made the decision to leave Juventus for Southampton in search of more playing time, and I got it. I made a good impression in England, I received good feedback at a certain point, so I hope that clubs won’t have a short memory.”
