Update On The Opening Segment For RAW, Ultimate Warrior Interview

— It was announced earlier that the opening segment of tonight’s 3-hour Slammy RAW will be the presentation of the Slammy for the “Tell Me I Did Not Just See That” moment of the year.

The nominees announced on the WWE website are listed as follows:

* R-Truth losing his Capital Punishment title bout after “Little Jimmy” threw soda on him

* Santino Marella’s performance at the 2011 Royal Rumble

* The Miz hitting John Cena with a Rock Bottom while disguised as The Rock on RAW

WWE Hall of Famer Jim Ross has since tweeted that he’s been nominated for a Slammy tonight and his category is up first – despite the fact that he wasn’t listed as a nominee on WWE.com. JR tweeted:

“Could tonite be the nite Ol JR wins his 1st Slammy? Tune in at 8/7 central to find out. My category 1st seg.”
