Beth Phoenix Takes Shot at RAW Women’s Title Contender

WWE Hall of Famer Beth Phoenix came to the defense of her WrestleMania tag team partner Natalya on Saturday and called out RAW Women’s Championship No. 1 Contender Lacey Evans on Twitter.
Phoenix slammed some of Evans’ work in the ring and also called her out for her lack of respect for the history of wrestling and women who came before her in the profession. Her comments dovetailed on tweets made earlier in the day by Natalya which also called into question Evans’ ability and experience in the ring. 
During the exchange, Evans fired back at Phoenix, calling her a part-timer and minimizing her criticisms. Here’s a look at the thread between Phoenix and Evans:

RAW is advertising another confrontation between Evans and two-brand champion Becky Lynch on RAW this week from Des Moines, Iowa. It will be interesting to see if Natalya and/or Phoenix also take part in the segment.
