Lesnar, McIntyre, Orton to appear on WWE Raw next week

WWE has confirmed a few appearances for next week’s episode of Raw.

WWE Champion Brock Lesnar and Drew McIntyre will both be on the show to further the build to their title match at WrestleMania 36. Randy Orton will also appear on the episode and respond to Edge’s challenge for a last man standing match at WrestleMania.

On tonight’s Raw, WWE re-aired this year’s men’s Royal Rumble match in its entirety. McIntyre eliminated Lesnar during the match and went on to win it.

McIntyre laid out Lesnar with three Claymore Kicks on Raw two weeks ago.

This year’s men’s Royal Rumble match was also where Edge made his return to the ring. He was attacked by Orton and given a con-chair-to on Raw the next night.

WWE announced today that WrestleMania will now take place at their Performance Center in Orlando, Florida. It was originally scheduled for Raymond James Stadium in Tampa.

“In coordination with local partners and government officials, WrestleMania and all related events in Tampa Bay will not take place,” WWE’s statement said. “However, WrestleMania will still stream live on Sunday, April 5 at 7 pm ET on WWE Network and be available on pay-per-view. Only essential personnel will be on the closed set at WWE’s training facility in Orlando, Florida to produce WrestleMania.”
