2/4 WWE RAW Viewership Drops On The Road To WrestleMania & Not Even ‘The Man’ Can Help
This week’s episode of WWE RAW was watched by an estimated 2,510,000 viewers.
While last week’s show was the follow-up to Royal Rumble, and thus understandably higher, the show is still hemorrhaging viewers year-over-year and that’s certainly not great news heading into WrestleMania season. This week’s WWE RAW, which saw Becky Lynch confront Stephanie McMahon and an advertised Intercontinental Championship match that never took place, was down 7.1% from the week before.
Looking at the first show in February over the last few years, this week’s number was down 17.8% from 2018, which was down 1.9% from 2017, which was down 9.7% from 2016. While RAW viewership has been sinking lower and lower each year, the rate at which it’s falling is now in double digits and dropping at an alarming rate. These are the weeks and months that are supposed to see the highest numbers of the entire year.
